Free entry. Housed within interesting ancient buildings next to the Kennet & Avon Canal in Newbury town centre. Nice coffee shop and gift shop. Worth popping in to learn a bit about the local area.

Established in 1904 and sited in a very old building, now updated, it contains many finds from the local area, including the Battle of Newbury.
