This is where our Revolutionary leader was murdered along with members of his cabinets and supporters. It is also historic in that the French and British fought over this area which has the most panoramic view of the city

Fort George is a historic scenic point overlooking the city of St. George's, Grenada and has an outstanding panoramic view of the harbour and surroundings. The Fort is still in use today by the islands Police Force and it is a tourist attraction as well. The minimal entrance fee goes to the upkeep of the Fort and grounds, it is well wort the price of admission. I enjoyed my visit to Fort George and the picturesque panoramic scenery inspired me to take a closer look at other visible points of interest nearby.
