Just 5 minutes walk away this lake is home to many bird species, plants and even turtles. It is a 2.5km walk/run around the whole lake. Dogs must be on lead but there are off leash areas around the lake also.

There are lovely walks around the lake through land that has been restored by the local community. There is also a par 3 public golf course and cafe, exercise equipment and children's playground.

A very nice walk or cycle around the lake without cars. Historically was a market garden and first settlement location in the late 1800's.

Lake Claremont is only a 7 minute walk away. Active bird life and easy walking path.

this is a great area to walk around, 2 coffee shops and resturants. There are wide open spaces, a par 3 golf course, and 3 playgrounds. This is walking distance .
