Located at the Area of Protected Landscape of the Açor Mountain, near the village of Benfeita, the Fraga da Pena (Pena Cliff) is a kind of small replica of the Poço do Inferno (Hell's Well) on the Estrela Mountain. As they flow to the Mata Brook, the waters of the Barroca das Degraínhas meet a lower part of more than 20 metres that form a waterfall and, below, a small lagoon. The cliff is entirely covered by moss and surrounded by vegetation. The local temperature, even in the summer, is extraordinarily low. Beautiful waterfall part of the national park. Nice also if you like hiking
