Singapore -Malaysian food that combines some of the better things from India, China, and Southeast Asia. Roti, Satay, Steamed Salmon, Basil Tofu, Curry Noodles--we eat these every month.

It serves authentic Indonesian cuisine from the island of Java. It comes with special Javanese home-made chili sauce. Roti pratha, gado-gado (salad with peanut sauce), nasi goreng (fried rice), soto Madura (Maduranese beef soup) are among the favorites. Open 11 am - 3 pm, 5-8 pm. Closed on Mondays.

Lime Tree is perhaps our favorite neighborhood restaurant. Walkable, great service, locally owned, and super good food. To top it off, Ming (the owner) offers our guests 10% off! You can always find a table at dinnertime too.

Don't be put off by the fluorescent lights and basement location. The southeast asian food is super tasty. Skewers, potatoes, and noodle dishes are worth ordering. I think it's BYOB.
