Bright yellow spot inside the main market of Coyocán with an incredible variety of tostadas and aguas frescas. My favorites are picadillo and cochinita pibil!

If you are more into street food than to gourmet restaurants, when you visit Coyoacán you ought to try this tostadas. Go to the Mercado de Coyoacán (Local Market) and follow the crowds

Amazing tostadas made with all classic mexican dishes. I have always said eating tostadas is the worst idea for a first date because they always break down and make a mess in your plate and somehow I always end up with cream on my nose and parsley between my teeth, still this is one of my favorite food, and in Mercado de Coyoacán all the ingredients are always fresh and the fruit juices and waters are the best ones.
