Damnoen Saduak Floating Market & Railway Market
Everyday 2 times: 7:15 AM and 10:30 AM After 1 to 1,5 hours driving we arrive at the famous Mae Klong train market (Talat Rom Hup). Imagine a train going straight through a public market! The Mae Klong Railway Market has been around since 1905. Fishing was (and still is) one of the main livelihoods of the people who lived here, and the market was another way in which to sell their goods. Officials decided to build a railway in order to better deliver these goods to other provinces. The market stayed at the same place though, despite the new tracks that cut through it. Visit Wat Bang Kung, famous for its small chapel that is completely enclosed within the roots of a banyan tree. It is almost like the tree itself is the pillars of the temple and that without the roots the chapel would fall down. You can also go inside to pay respect to the Buddha image. Continue to Damnoen Saduak where we board a long-tail boat for a ride through the canals before we reach the famous floating market of Damnoen Saduak. Although the market evolved more into a tourist attraction nowadays, it’s still worth the visit for its unique atmosphere and the experience it offers. THE EXACT MEETING TIME/DEPARTURE TIME WILL BE INFORMED IN A PERSONAL MESSAGE TO YOU THE DAY BEFORE THE TOUR. PLEASE READ OUR MESSAGE CAREFULLY AND KEEP IN MIND THAT WE HAVE TO START ON TIME.

Historical City of Ayutthaya - Unesco Full Day From Bangkok
In the morning we leave from the meeting point in Bangkok to the former capital Ayutthaya. Ayutthaya, a kingdom that existed from 1350 to 1767, is a fantastic destination for culture lovers. During these four centuries, the country grew into the nation of Siam (the former name of Thailand), which roughly occupied the territory of modern Thailand, with the exception of the Lanna kingdom in northern Thailand. Ayutthaya was favorable to foreign merchants, first Chinese, Indians, Japanese and Persians, later Portuguese, Spaniards, Dutch (the Dutch East India Company), British and French, and allowed them to build settlements outside the city walls. At its peak, Ayutthaya had over a million inhabitants and the ambassadors of King Louis XIV of France compared the city in size and wealth to Paris. The kingdom came to its final end in 1767, when the Burmese army invaded the country, burnt Ayutthaya to the ground and forced the inhabitants to abandon the city. Since 1991, Ayutthaya has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit the Royal Summer Palace Bang Pa-In and the most famous and stunning temples ruins in this once mighty city, like Wat Yai Chai Mongkhon, Wat Mahathat, Vihara Phra Mongkhon Bophit, Wat Phra Si Sanphet and Wat Chaiwatthanaram. Half Day Authentic Thai Cooking Class in Organic Farm
At Grandma’s Home Cooking School, we do not only teach you how to cook traditional Thai dishes but also culturally give you some tricks so you can adapt, find substitute ingredients in your own country, cook by yourself, and spend time cooking with your beloved family. After picking you up from the hotel, we will spice up your morning with a small journey to a local Thai fresh market. There, you will experience the actual culture and vibe of the people in the community. It might seem a bit chaotic from the outside view but, after spending some time there, you’ll feel a warm-hearted welcoming without being noticed. Also we will give a closer look at the local varieties of Thai seasoning, sauce, and paste for our menu. At this point, you’ll learn how and what they are made of. In Northern Thai, the people are family-oriented, therefore, we don’t just go out, do the shopping, cook, and eat. We spend and enjoy quality time together with the family and that is how we learn our traditional cooking process from generations for centuries. At the school, the first thing we’ll do is to explore our farm. We have a mushroom house, chicken barn, and vegetable garden. They are all 100% organic. There you will learn how to choose the vegetables before we roll. Our school is 100% eco-friendly and sustainable.Join us and experience grandma’s love at Grandma’s Home Cooking School
