16th Street Mall used to be our "drag strip" back in the day. They have made it into a lovely, diverse, eclectic variety of everything from music, food, shopping and a true Denver experience.

This is the gateway to Rocky Mountain National Park! Eat, shop, hike, snowshoe, bike, you name it, this Park has it. It has be iconic to Colorado forever and is in fairly close proximity!

Larimer St. is located in LoDo (Lower Downtown) and is iconic as the buildings are of the original "Denver" lower district. Coors field is close along with many pubs, bars, restaurants, shopping and grills. 16th Street Mall is also iconic as it is where we used to "drag" race our cars back in the 70's-80's until they built this beautiful "walk-only" mall. There are restaurants, shopping, bars and so much more, all done by foot although, there is the 16th street shuttle that runs the whole distance of the mall. Free to use, but of course, tips are always accepted. They do have a bus that runs until about 2ish a.m. so you can get around easily.

This is a great place to find that secret treasure and many times, that item that you do not want to pay retail for, and it works! It gives back to the community and is fun for those who "thrift it". Very close the Great Scott's Eatery so eat, shop, save money.

Toiletries, groceries and then some. Never overly crowded and a go to place for whatever you may need. They have clearance sections, but keep in mind the price that you have paid previously, but many great deals. It may take walking every isle, but there has always been a "gem" when I go.

They have their flyers available upon arrival and have some great deals on groceries and some other things you may need for your travels. They have clearances on items, but it does take walking the isles to catch those.
