Walk acress the iconic deception pass bridge for breathtaking views of Saratoga Passage, Rosario Strait and the San Juan's off in the distance. There are great beach parks on both sides of the bridge for a picnic and beach-combing. If the silvers or pinks are running, you can cast a line off of the beach just under the bridge and perhaps catch your dinner!

Easily the best restaurant on South Whidbey (and I include the famous but in our opinion overrated Inn at Langley in that group)Chef Vincent Nattress is a Whidbey native but lived in Napa Valley for a time and was a chef at the Michelin rated Meadowood restaurant. His farm-to table fare at his wonderful property in Bayview, a few miles away, is an experience not to be missed! Reservations a must, especially in the summer.
