On the road leading up to the lake you will see giant statues of the Hindu deities Mangal Mahadev Shiva and Lord Durga. These were made by the Indian sculptor Shri Matu Ram Verma who is famous for his giant statues. At 33 m high Mangal Madadev is the 3rd tallest statue of Shiva in the world.
