This is the office of the historical society. You can arrange for tours of Teackle Mansion from here. It is pretty amazing. It took 14 years to build! Admission is 10 a person to support the museum. They also operate an antique business from this location.

There aren't many towns that can boast such a beautiful location for a public library. They open at 11 am and close at 7 pm and closed on Sundays. The big back deck facing the Little Annemessex River is serene. Buy a K-cup and sit out there to relax and enjoy the view.

If you are an American Legion member our Legion has a gorgeous waterfront property. There is a great deck to view boats motoring on Dougherty Creek or watch the sun set over Janes Island. It is also next to our Wellington Beach. They serve food every night and of course cold beverages. We love the place!
