Super location right on the harbor. The perfect place for fried seafood, Middle Eastern fare and excellent drinks at Donavan's Reef. Very reasonable, touristy but definitely not a "tourist trap" - lots of happy island patrons.

We love coming here for their tomato soup - it doesn't say on the menu but it comes with a nice grilled cheese. Best value in Edg! Also they serve bacon on the bar as bar snacks!

Sightseeing
There are beaches all over the island but our favorite is just a short drive, bike, or bus ride down the street. Gorgeous views in the summertime of the boat traffic and go for a jump off the bridge!

As locals, our favorite alternative to trekking to Menemsha for sunset is heading to East Chop. It's so close to our house, makes all the sense in the world. If you keep going past the lighthouse down the hill you get great views of west chop as well.
