Well worth combining with a trip to Krabi. There are different hot streams and hot pools. Krabi Hot Springs with a waterfall at the end of a hot stream) is very nice.
Once there the pools are not very well signed. Just follow people or ask.

A great beach to swim - especially in the morning.
Well worth a visit.
Go there to walk the dogs (9-11am and 3-5pm). They are all very nice and beautiful dogs that often have had some rather bad experience.
Many dogs end up adopted and flying to Europe and the US.
The beach dog-walk is nice - you will come across 2/3 beaches that are quite secluded.

A good place to dive or snorkel. Ask any diving shop. If you want to relax, take a slow boat not a speed boat to get there. That's the best way to appreciate Ko Ha.

Worth watching Muay Thai there when they have a good line-up.
Not cheap but a very Thai experience. It starts with the kids and after about 2 hours you get the main fights - these almost always end up in K.Os. It's a rather full-on form of fighting but part of Thai heritage.
Just buy normal seats.

Trang is a largely untouched Thai city with hardly any tourist. You may not see one foreigner in a day there.
The food is amazing.
About 2:45 hours from Lanta - an easy drive. Get a Tourist SIM card and use the GPS on your phone to drive there and navigate.
