After 2,5 hours of tough hike for people of normal good shape can go out on Kjeragbolten and feel what it's like to have 1000 meters free fall down to the sea , may feel scary , but it's certainly worth it to be photographed in such a pose. Spectacular view. Walking up you may meat base jumpers that hike up 2-3 times a day to perform their biggest adrenaline stunts by jumping off the cliffs. Good hiking boots are recommended. Base jumpers has a basecamp on Lysefjorden camping.

Nach einen gut anstrengenten Tur von 2,5 Stunden ( ein Weg ) durch die Berge für normal durchtrenierte Leute , kann man sich auf den Kjeragstein stellen , und ein Gefühl dafür bekommen , wie es wäre 1000 m tief zu fallen im freien Fall bis runter zum Fjord. Das ist es absolut wert sich zu überwinden und Fotos zu machen. Der Kjerag wird deswegen auch reichlich von Fallschirmspringer genutzt. Es gibt eine eigene Basehopper station im Tal im Lysebotn.
Wanderschuhe und wetterfeste Kleidung sollten immer zur Standartausstattung gehören!!

Try to find a day with nice weather, you will at least never regret the trip. Check the weather at www.yr.no, write Prekestolen in the search field. It's recommended to start the hike early in the morning because there is very heavy traffic of walkers on the path up later.
