You can walk to Racing's North Turn via the beach or sidewalk. It is a super chill place to relax with a beverage overlooking the ocean. The food is quite basic -- don't order the exotic stuff. Ask if they have fish n' chips. That is not on the menu.

This is a mom and pop Italian restaurant with *really* great red sauce and excellent flavors. Nothing fancy about the atmosphere but it's relaxed, the food is great, and the price is right. They will deliver or you can dine in.

Outstanding Mexican fusion restaurant with very fresh flavors and an excellent wait staff. This is a great place when you simply cannot eat one more fried hush puppy! Order the half-sized margarita. If you order the whole-sized margarita, share it with a friend, or be prepared to take an Uber home!

If you have dinner at this place under the bridge, go early. They get very busy. It's fun for the kids to sit on the deck and feed french fries to massive swarms of catfish. The food is your typical beach fare but it's a relaxed place for families.

Very close to the condo, on the river side. Super relaxed, semi-outdoor dining area. This is, again (like most everything on the island) your basic beach food -- french fries, fried fish, burgers, etc., but it is quite relaxed and scenic with the boats parked in the marina there.

Don't tell anyone this place is here! We'd like to keep it for ourselves. Jerry's Grill & Tiki Bar is tucked away near the end of Ponce Inlet, on the right as you head to the lighthouse. It looks like nothing from the outside, but you will then enter a full-on tiki bar with overhead fans and sometimes live music. Get the pizza.

It looks like nothing from the outside, but you will then enter a full-on tiki bar with overhead fans and sometimes live music. Get the pizza.
Go hungry. Maybe try to starve yourself before you go. This place throws down some outstanding and very hearty breakfast fare.

You can walk into the park for free (park along Beach Street). Or, you can pay a fee to drive into the park and picnic table area. Or, you can pay to drive onto the beach at this scenic park, which is a mecca for surfers. It's a pleasant stroll out the boardwalk to the beach, or through the saw palmettos.

Finally, the world's most fantastic 7-11 (I'm not kidding) is about two minutes south of the condo AND that has an ice cream place next door to it where the kids can eat ice cream and hoola hoop to surfing music.
