place, especially since this restaurant is
located on mambo Beach, very close to the
villa. Every Wednesday evening you can
let your feet off the f loor after dinner just
down the road at Cabana.

Here you can eat delicious fresh f ish of the
day. They don’t have a menu because they
only serve what they caught that day, but
usually they have delicious fresh tuna. You
can’t make reservations and they are only
open on weekends. A great local experience!

Village hosts several restaurants around an
old village square. A very cosy place and
must see when you are on Curaçao. Our
favorite on the square is Caleo, a great
restaurant by the same owners as MosaCana.

If you go to Westpunt for a day, you will
pass this Hof i. It is an old sugar cane
plantation that was recently purchased by
famous Dutch comedian and entrepreneur
Jandino. They have now completely
renovated it and offer guided tours for
tourists (and locals). The walk takes about
1.5 hours. Everything is explained about
the history of the estate. You will also walk
through a 300-year-old mango forest and
at the end you will climb the ‘stairway to
heaven’ to a work of art by a local artist.
From this point you have a beautiful view
of the Cristoffel Mountain and the beach.
A really great experience. Even a must do.
