Remember to bring food and beverage for a nice pic-nic! There is a very small shop at Cape Vidal selling a very limitted range of food and drink; much better to buy supplies in St Lucia and take them into the park with you.
Self-drive routes - One of the best nature reserves, make sure you do all the small loops to get a better feel for the park.
The gate entry to the Cape Vidal area operates in summer (October to March) between 05h00 and 19h00, and in winter (April to September) from 06h00 to 18h00. No late entry is permitted. The office is open from 08h00 to 12h30 and from 14h00 to 16h30 daily.

Dumazulu - meaning "Thundering Zulu", is the large cultural Zulu village which was opened by King Goodwill Zwelithini - placing the royal Zulu stamp of approval on the objectives and authenticity of Dumazulu.
