It’s an odd thing, but their taco pizza and their pizza in general is very good! It’s so close to the cabin and a great option for something very quick.

We love it! Try the Super Day IPA if you like an IPA! We buy the growlers and bring them home. If my growler is on the counter, feel free to fill it up and use it while you are there! SO good! It has been a nice hang out spot for us and you can order food from places around and have it delivered, like Pizza Pub! Great apple fritters and great meats! 7/2020 update - not sure if it is COVID’s fault, but the donuts aren’t as fresh and good. 🙁 We hit this place when we are up in Hinckley because they have some great locally sourced meats!
We have a common routine. We are runners and drive the 13 miles up to Hinckley and run on the Willard Munger State Trail. https://files.dnr.state.mn.us/maps/state_trails/willard_munger.pdf We park our car at Daggett's while running and then when we are done, we go in Daggetts and get an apple fritter, because they really are great! Along with that, we will pick up some chuck eye steaks to grill later. If you are lucky, they will have them! Their meats are usually excellent and they have some nice homemade type of bratwursts.

Hiking that isn't too far away. Just go south on Cross Lake Road (for like 5 seconds), take a left (East) on St. Croix Rd (Hwy 8), keep going east for about 10 miles. There's hiking trails and a great canoeing area. I love being outdoors and it's another place to explore!
