Here, the American dishes have a European influence—flatbread pizza topped with ham and manchego, eggplant "fries," quiches, seafood, salads, and cassoulet. Felt-like clouds cover one wall (custom art by two French brothers) to alleviate noise levels in the large, light-filled space with polished floors and gallery-white walls, where the crowd is steady and a mix of fashionable locals and museum visitors. There is a cask wine program and the beer is local to Houston and Austin.
