A gorgeous park just behind the house. HIGHLY recommend for a hike. You can see vineyards, a small church, horses, and many lookouts with views of Barcelona, the Pyrenees, and Montserrat. From the gate take a right, then your first street to the left, go up up up and explore!
This beach is a good option if you also want to have a drink and tapas at a chiringuito (beach bars that open Easter to October 1st). You can also take the train from here to Barcelona.

Many beautiful beaches can be found in front of this campground located on the Costa Brava.
You can also do a costal walk from here to Tossa de Mar (3 km) and then take a public bus back. Incredible views and you can stop to swim in one of many coves.

We haven’t been but have heard great things! Here’s the lonely planet review: “Named after an Argentinean film, Elsa y Fred is decorated like a cosy living room, with a large wooden fireplace, sink-down leather armchairs and old-fashioned lamps. The menu features a range of gourmet tapas dishes, such as tuna with almond emulsion and rice crispy, and Thai salad with roast beef. Delectable cakes and cocktails are also served, as well as brunch on weekends.”

Getting Around
To get to Barcelona, we recommend taking the train from Ocata station in El Masnou.
You can usually find free parking in the most northern part of El Masnou. A quick guide to parking:
- Blue lines = pay parking
- Orange lines = pay parking
- Yellow diagonal lines = loading zone, so parking is prohibited (although you can normally park here 14-16h and 20h, but check the sign to confirm this)
- White lines = you can park for free. A rule of thumb - if no one else is parked you cannot park, whereas if you find just one spot you're probably in the right place.
Estació Ocata
To get to Barcelona, we recommend taking the train from Ocata station in El Masnou.
