A well maintained chip trail runs around the entire community golf course (and past the sanctuary bird pond at the north end of the course). Full loop is 5km, or 2.5km half loop (with a cut across at the club house). Trail start is about 5-10 min walk from our house.

While the Sunday brunch is fabulous, I primarily go here for the Farm-to-Table Three Course Dinner Menu ($28) that gets updated based on the season, and great wine list. Located away from the hustle and bustle of downtown, Fireside Grill, is a wonderful place to enjoy affordable fine dining with a partner, or a large group.
Originally a Tudor revival house built as an English-style tea and dance room in 1939 (the "Royal Oak Inn"), the building and property were refurbished in the 80s to create the Fireside Grill.
Indoor seating plus two heated exterior patio options, set amidst towering oak trees and landscaped gardens.
