Hoyt Lake is my favorite walk it takes about 15 minutes to get to and there is a nice path to walk around the whole lake.

Bidwell Pkwy is a nice grassy area , 15 minute walk in the middle of of the Elmwood area. Nice place to hang out. Saturday mornings the farmers market is held there I would definitely suggest going. Also on Tuesday's there is a free concert which has food trucks as well. Always a nice time, the kids are usually up front dancing and it's adorable.

Delaware park is a 7 minute drive. The zoo is there. Also a golf course and a track around it that you will always find people on, walking/biking/rollerblading.

3. Canalside is a 15 minute drive. This is a new fun area of Buffalo. If you type in Canalside Buffalo on the internet you will find a list of events going on each day. Always something. Nice to just explore as well though. Has a sandbox for kids that all my friends kids LOVE.

Outer harbor is also 15 minute drive. It's just a nice place to sit and watch the sunset but also has fun activities as well. Type in Outer Harbor Buffalo for things going on there!
