This is our favorite secret picnic spot. Ender's Island is a private community but Saint Edmund's retreat center is open to the public and has its own mini-island to explore with amazing views and gardens. We usually stop at Mystic Market east for sandwiches.

A small beach behind the Mystic YMCA. Free Admission and plenty of parking. No life guard on duty but has playground, pavilion, grills, sport fields. Great for families!
