Jump on the Steam Train at Plas Tan y Bwlch (up the road at Maentwrog), or at Blaenau Ffestiniog and head into Porthmadog :) Also option at Porthmadog to join the steam train to Caernarfon Castle :)

Pretty Coastal Town with Panorama Walk (search on SNP website), best viewpoint over the Mawddach Estuary is only a short walk from a parking spot :) so u don't have to do the full walk 4 awesome view!
