Food Scene
This is the "headquarters' of Virginia Village (my neighborhood) but has some of the best food around! The owner is a former New Belgium Brewery employee and has curated an excellent draft list of great local and regional craft breweries. Esters is know for their pizzas, however have great sandwiches, amazing brunch, and their hot wings are killer. Great atmosphere and good at anytime of the day. If you are a Glutard (like myself) they have gluten free options as well!

The menu changes constantly as they cook only with fresh ingredients they get locally. I also think this place has the best coffee in the city. The only problem about this place is unless you get there before 9am, you will probably be waiting as everyone want to go there.
Park Burger is a small burger joint that will make you rethink about how you eat burgers. The chefs have a ton of fun coming up with monthly burgers on top of their delicious set menu. On top of the burgers, they provide an assortment of fries and shakes that are delicious! They have three other locations in Rino, Highlands, and Uptown. It is also near a brewery and ice cream place to end the night right!

Great brewery located on the edge of Denver proper. In my opinion they have the best IPA in the city, which has also won Gold at GABF in their first year open. Their beers are stronger than your normal Bud as they emphasize bold flavors in all their beers.

This is a small, dive bar about a 5 minute walk from the house that still has the carpet in it when it opened up about 20 years ago. Nothing flashy about this spot other than it being close, cheep booze, and Golden Tee. A true hidden for the city.

This national park is open to the public everyday and features hikes, great views and a neat spot to work out. They host concerts almost every night during the summer with an amazingly memorable time. If you find time to go for a show, I highly recommend it!

One of Denver's beautiful parks around the city, this park has two large lakes, a running and biking loop around as well as talking paths. On the weekend, the center green is usually full of 100+ volleyball courts people setup to enjoy the day!
