Parks & Nature
Very popular hike so it's often crowded, but a great workout. You can do the Echo Canyon side for a steep, shorter hike, or the Cholla trail for a slightly longer and more gradual hike. Parking is rough, but you'll get a great workout and nice views of the desert and the city.

Great workout hike, very steep, about 1.4 miles each way I think. Parking can be tough and its crowded, but there are other flatter trails in the park as well.

Beautiful hiking, climbing. Can't beat it for spring wildflowers. If you're feeling ambitious, the 11 mile one way ridgeline trail is one of the best hikes I've ever done. You'll need a car shuttle. Peralta trail to Weaver's needle is also nice.
