Best coffee spot around! Great drinks, lovely atmosphere- has inside and courtyard seating. Awesome place to do work or meet up with friends. Also have pastry options (vegan as well). Only downside is that they are closed on Sundays!

Great for a coffee or a light lunch. Great little enclosed side garden with art all over the walls. Smaller food portions, French/American style. My favorite is the French Onion soup and the Veggie Panino!

Perfect take out spot for Thai. You can also eat in the restaurant but the atmosphere isn't the best. If you spend over $20 they will give you a free Thai iced tea with your order. Definitely recommend Pad Thai, Pad See Ew and Cheese Wontons!

Usually we grab sandwiches at Zelda's and then walk the boardwalk on the weekends. Really great egg sandwitches, tuna melt is also a personal favorite. Plus, they make fresh mini donuts on the spot for 6 bucks (30 donuts)!

Great spot to grab a bite. Cute little outside eating area as well. Awesome for a quick nibble. If you've never had omusubi, it's a great time to try it! Basically it's a sushi sandwich- but for those who are not a fan of fish, they have veggie and hot meat options as well. My personal favorites are the Sunny Blue Curry, Miso Beef and Tuna Kara! Each Omusubi ranges from about $3.25 - $3.95. Two of them gets me full!

The best swap meet around! Sundays from 9am to 5pm (they stop letting people in at 4:45pm) but it's 3$ cash entry and believe me when I say you might be there all day long. Vendors set up tables as far as the eye can see, selling things from jean jackets to vintage suitcases. This is also a very central location to other iconic LA spots, so you can add this to your LA bucket list without going far out of your way. If you get hungry while shopping, try the empanadas in the "food court".
