Abbott Kinney is one of Venice's most popular and well known streets. There are tons of great breakfast/brunch spots, as well as dinner spots. Plenty of art galleries, ice cream shops, boutiques, and craft cocktail bars. On the first Friday of every month, there is something called "first Friday" on Abbot Kinney. The street essentially shuts down for an eclectic mix of food trucks from all over LA county, as well as art gallery openings and street vendors.

The Santa Monica Pier is about an hour away (walking distance). Though the walk from the end of Washington blvd down to the pier is one of the most iconic and stunning strolls one could take. Passing the Venice Boardwalk and Muscle Beach, on to the famous Santa Monica outdoor gym, to the pier - the walk is one for the books. The pier features plenty of rides, views, and all other sorts of attractions. Perfect for a day out with the family!

Neighborhoods
Venice Beach is a very walkable, interesting town. From multi-million dollar mansions to 100 year old craftsman bungalows, you'll see some of the most eclectic architecture in the city. You can rent an electric scooter or bike to get around, and even a surfboard and wetsuit to try out surfing the Pacific ocean waves.
You can rent a boat, longboard, or dingy, eat wonderful Italian food, and watch the dolphins, seals, gulls, and pelicans cavort in the harbor, minutes from my B & B.
