Hayes mansion as photographed from Edenvale Garden Park which was the location of Frontier Village amusement park from 1961-1980. The only reason I was at this spot was that I was feeling nostalgic about Frontier Village, which I visited twice as a child in the late 1960's. I decided to see what if any remnant of the park could be found in it's old location. There are numerous markers in the park showing where specific attractions were located such as the train station, main street and the Lost Dutchman mine ride. None of those made for a very good picture so instead I took this shot of the stately Hayes mansion from a location that would have been towards the back of the amusement park.
