This is by far my favorite winery in the area. They have a wonderful farm to table dinner that includes 4 courses, generous wine pairings. Reservations are a must. Dine al fresco, weather permitting. Worth the splurge! Starry Nights outdoor music concerts in the summer months.

I usually drive to Charlottesville for groceries but will go here in a pinch. Not great, but convenient if you've forgotten something. They do have a nice selection of beer and wine, bread from the local Goodwin Creek Bakery and chocolate. And that's about it. But really, what more do you need?

A great place to pick up a sandwich, local food stuffs (wine, beer, cider, bread, kombucha, baked goods, and coffee) and yummy prepared food. Not cheap but definitely worth a visit. The tuna sandwich is one of the best I've ever had! Pick up food to take on a picnic or to polo on Sunday. Outdoor seating only and no washrooms.
