Always friendly people, drinks are very reasonable, full bar. Wednesday night they play dice from around 5 pm to 7 pm. Lots of fun, and you do not have to be a member to go there, you do need to sign in as a guest, however. Everyone is always welcome.

They have the best food, hands down! Epic portions, to boot. They serve breakfast and lunch only, close at 2 pm. You don't want to miss this place. Also, homemade pastries and desserts.

This place is the nicest place to eat in town. No dress code, but it's nice. The food is pricey, but worth every penny! They have a full bar in the back; you can also order your food and eat back there, if you like. Great lemon drops!

They have REALLY good Mexican food! I personally do not care much for their enchilada sauce, but other than that, it's bomb!

Best taco truck ever! My favorite is the carne asada nachos. The best! Can feed two people, absolutely delicious! Plus, they are right across the highway from my house, very convenient.

Sightseeing
Very unique rock formations that have been the backdrop for numerous films, clear back to the silent film days (check out Film History Museum and WATCH THE FILM!) Also filmed out there are commercials, music videos and who knows what else. It's just stunning! Take Tuttle Creek Road as well to get a scenic view of more rocks and creeks and just natural beauty. Be careful, it's a narrow, windy road, but you don't want to miss out on this one!

Also filmed out there are commercials, music videos and who knows what else. It's just stunning! Take Tuttle Creek Road as well to get a scenic view of more rocks and creeks and just natural beauty. Be careful, it's a narrow, windy road, but you don't want to miss out on this one!
Once at the parking area, go through the trees to your left as you are driving in, and check out the beautiful meadow and silent running creek winding through the grass! There are Golden Trout in the creek, as well. It's SO beautiful up there. Take your bug spray, the mosquitoes will eat you alive!

The starting point for some of the hikers climbing up My. Whitney, this is an awesome place to go just for the drive, the views, the food at the little shop up there (great burgers!), and there's even a waterfall and a small pond to fish in. Very, very pretty.

Always nice by the river, good way to be in touch with nature.
It's simply amazing! You realize how small you are in the whole scheme of things. It makes you wish you were a geologist, for sure. God's work at His finest.

But you HAVE to watch the film they show to really grasp how important these hills were to the film industry and how people from Los Angeles trotted back and forth to make movies for ever! It's crazy!
