The Riegrovy sady considered to be one of the most attractive areas of Prague. The Riegrovy sady is the place, in which was laid the first Prague's Botanical garden (11 ha big). At the beginning of the 20th century this place was considered very prestigious and honorary citizens of Prague settled here. It was a favourite place of Prague bohemians. The Riegrovy sady are located at a height of 170 metres above the sea level, with a view to the very center of Prague: Prague Castle, Hradčany and Petřin. In the upper part of the park is the "Riegrovy Sady Beer Garden" restaurant. Nearby is a park called Rajská zahrada - there are many sports facilities like tennis courts, soccer field, relaxation center.
