Ambience and a sultry bourbon vibe (if that exists!) We love to sit in the bar and share a few dishes. The rib eye is soooo good! Try the corn chowder too...and the cauliflower. Yay!

Want green chili? This is where we like to go for our blue corn green chili enchiladas. Partly because the food is good and partly because the atmosphere is so super New Mexican. Take one bite of spicy and salty enchiladas and along with a bite of sopapilla (fry bread) topped with honey.... so bueno!

Entertainment & Activities

Order a beer and burger and take it into the theater where you have a nice big comfy chair and a tray for your food. Buy tickets online in advance and pick the seats in the very front row so you can have an ottoman to put your feet up:)

The Santa Fe River Trail Runs from downtown out past Frenchy's Park. From our casita you can drive a few blocks to Alto Park, park your car and then jump onto the trail. If you walk east you can get downtown, or west and you just follow the river for a nice bit of exercise and to see the other locals walking their dogs and biking around.

Arts & Culture

It's a pretty walk and you can stop to see amazing art at countless galleries. Then stop at the Teahouse for a refreshment or if you plan your walk to end later in the evening perhaps make a reservation to eat at Geronimo's or stop at the bar at El Farol.

Sightseeing

It is the heart of our city and there is often an event or a concert to be enjoyed. The architecture is beautiful, there are nice shops to visit, Native American artisans sell on the street, eat at the Plaza Cafe if the line isn't too long (we go on Sundays for breakfast when it's not too busy) sit and people watch, take a walk through the church and just take in this which is the oldest capital city in the US. So much history here that you can feel. We are so blessed to call this our home!
