Places to eat in the nearby neighborhoods of South Park and Golden Hill, all within walking distance.
I have not included in the list below some of the restaurants in the neighborhood like Del Sur (Mexican) or Curryosity (Indian) at 30th and Juniper, as they are less likely to be used by a solo traveler, but they are also within walking distance and would be good for a meetup with friends.
Really good classic thin crust pizza! Only a few minutes walk away, and open late. Made fresh. Choose slices from many different kinds. They often have vegan slices. Great for solo traveler.

Pad Thai, soups, brown rice with veggies and tofu, mango with sticky rice, bobo tea, etc. In the back of a small local Market, look for the banner over the market entrance.
