There are a number of amazing food vendors that we love including Macro Mamas (only there on Saturdays-get the peanut lime noodles!), Solaz Breakfast Burritos and the Cambodian spot. Shop the rest of the market for local, homemade items. Stop to eat on the dock and just take in the lake. Its beautiful!

It is a drive, but well worth it for the beautiful drive along the way. The food is all local and DELICIOUS. We love the catfish they make, they are known for it! They also offer a really special brunch on the weekends.

This adorable little ice cream shop is an easy walk from our house. Its attached to a 24/7 sandwich shop but it's not open all night! They are know for their "Two-Berry Twist" which is blackberry and raspberry soft serve, swirled! Yum.

Parks & Nature
You pull up and see one of the big waterfalls right there. Its a great spot to sit and have a picnic. The hiking trail is steep but there is so much to see walking along the gorge.

Taughannock has the second largest waterfall in New York State after Niagara Falls! Park near the entrance and do the flat, easy trail to the waterfall. Its beautiful!!! On summer weekends, it will be busy, but its worth it. Across the street you can park and sit on the lake and swim! Tons of fun!

On summer weekends, it will be busy, but its worth it. Across the street you can park and sit on the lake and swim! Tons of fun!
Treman has a ton of different trails and an amazing place to swim. If you're into the parks and gorges, its a must see.

If you are wanting to go on a wine tour or out-of-Ithaca adventure, we highly recommend you do it on Seneca Lake! The wines are excellent from the local wineries such as Damiani, Atwater and Finger Lakes Distilling. Also on that drive you can stop at the Stonecat Cafe and Danos. And the views along the way are breathtaking!

There are always a bunch of new exhibits here. If you go to the top floor there is a stunning view of Ithaca! This is up on Cornell's campus so it's great to check out the museum and then walk around.

This is a cool new shopping area with smaller micro stores including an herb shop, ice cream shop, coffee shop and more coming soon (like a donut shop late summer 2018!). Definitely good place to walk around and its right by the commons.

This is a local hard cider maker just outside of town. You can visit their orchard, drink cider and have light snacks. The view is beautiful and in the summer you can pick flowers. Local tip: on Saturday mornings in the summer, one of our friends, Lara Green, teaches a delightful, gentle yoga class at 10AM. This location is also very close to Lickbrook Falls which is a steeper hike with a waterfall at the bottom!
