Make time to visit the farmer's market on Public Square. The Farmer's Market runs from the last week in June until the week before Thanksgiving, every Thursday from 10am-2pm.
There's always something happening every weekend on the Square. Parades, festivals, farmers market (seasonal), car shows, etc. Be sure to support City Market Deli while you're there for great food...hot/cold, breakfast/lunch/dinner. Plus, they have the most amazing murals inside of historic Wilkes-Barre, then and now.
