Parks & Nature
Seward Park is one of Seattle's best kept secrets (sort of). Park your car in one of the lots near the entrance and enjoy a level 2.5 mi loop around the perimeter of the park. Stunning views of Mt Rainier (on a clear day), Mercer Island, downtown Seattle and Bellevue. There are plenty of birding opportunities including great blue heron, woodpeckers, misc waterfowl, and resident bald eagles.
If you are feeling adventurous you can explore the many trails in the central part of the park.
You will not be disappointed.
