Great rib meat! This is truly a unique place. They took a old Jiffy Lube Oil refilling station and unicycled it, transforming it into a great little restaurant. I was very impressed with everything I saw coming out of the serving doors. My husband had a pulled rib meat sandwich and I had a salad. The salad was huge! and delicious. I also tried the beef brisket and a small side of rib meat, The rib meat was outstanding! There are 2 places in Missoula (their menu is at our place in the binder). The closest one is almost across the street from Walmart as you drive until town from the house. The also carry out combos and sell by the pound in case you want to have a party at the house. 406-929-1461

This is a great supermarket and they are open 24 hours a day. They have a nice selection of organic foods, by Montana standards. They have a nice Deli and food buffet area with a salad bar. Make sure to go by and get your $.25 cent ice cream cone, (vanilla, chocolate or swirl) so you can snack while you shop.

This is the largest natural freshwater lake by surface area that is west of the Mississippi River. The fishing is GREAT! Kayak, swim, or scuba dive through some of the clearest water you’ve ever seen, or impress everyone with a catch of the lake’s trophy-sized trout.

A backpacker’s dream, the Bob Marshall Wilderness covers nearly as much ground as Glacier National Park to the north and sees a fraction of the traffic. Dead smack in the middle of it all is the Chinese Wall, an incredible limestone cliff more than 1,000 feet high and 12 miles long. Its sheer enormity certainly brings to mind the actual Chinese wall it’s named for, but the truth is even more impressive. This towering monolith is one of the most dramatic examples of the United States Continental Divide: the point where the Atlantic and Pacific watersheds collide. Although the park itself is slightly remote, it’s certainly worth the effort.
