Stunning scenery, boat trips, water sports.
Great for walking, jogging and running. New kids play park just opened and a new cafe. The park has been extensively upgraded with the fountain being brought back into action. Great views of Dumbarton Rock. The Scottish bag pipe championships are held here.

Get your boat ticket from the boat yard in Balmaha and take the short trip to the island where you can stop at the beach for a picnic, visit the ancient Scottish Clan graves and climb the viewpoint for stunning views. You will be asked for a return time for the boat. I would stay for at least 3 hours if the weather is ok.
If not travelling by car to Balmaha, you can get a bus from Balloch. Remember to check the return times.
