Rather pricy, but for appr. 8 EUR you can take the flamed pies (a Pizza-like traditional meal, in Hungarian 'kenyérlángos') as a light dish. Probably this is the best place to taste it.

To buy a ticket you have to add your credit card data. You can buy an e-ticket within the app that you must validate before using the vehicle by scanning the QR code at the entrance of the vehicle (outside). Inside the vehicle you will not find a QR-code.

Taxi
Be careful with taxis, particularly in touristic places. If you pick a taxi on the street ask the driver first about the estimated price. Keep in mind that taxi fare is regulated by law and costs 700 HUF basic fee plus 300 HUF/km plus 75 HUF/minute. All taxis should use taxi meter are there are no tariff zones (even if some tricky drivers say that). If you travel within the touristic part (the medium ring) tarif should be below 4000 HUF in total, but it is between the two furthest parts of the touristic centre.
We advise to order a taxi using Főtaxi app (English menu available).

Single ticket: You cannot change vehicle with a single ticket, except from subway-to-subway. If you change vehicle validate a new ticket.
Consider buying a time based ticket (30 mins, 90 mins, 24 hours).
