Wonderful views of Mount Solitary from Gordon Falls Lookout/Reserve - accessed via Cnr Olympian Parade and Lone Pine Avenue, Leura - only a short walk away from Cardamon Cottage.

One of the fabulous sandstone features in the Upper Blue Mountains, the 3 Sisters. These can be seen along the escarpment but best viewing spot is at Echo Point. See the 3 Sisters and the magical Jamison Valley in the Blue Mountains, known for the blue haze blanketing the terrain created by dispersed droplets of Eucalypt oil in the atmosphere. Mt Solitary is in the distance with Narrow Neck Plateau on your right hand side.

Magnificent gardens. Everglades Gardens is a nice stroll from Cardamon Cottage. The gardens are at its peak during Autumn and Spring, displaying amazing colours throughout the entire venue. Some of the walkways throughout the garden are stone so we recommend comfortable flat shoes so you can truly enjoy and explore.

One of more most favourite hikes in the Blue Mountains. The fabulous restore of the track is fantastic with the start or end of the trail (pending which way you go) sees you walking down the cliffs face. Very steps, lots of stairs but FABULOUS VIEWS. Please note: Hiking shoes recommended, as well as take water with you. One of the more popular walks in the Blue Mountains so does get busy.
National Pass Walking Track

It does get busy due to its proximity but it is short (approx 3km round trip from the Car Park, Cnr Fifth Ave & Minni Ha Ha Road, Katoomba) and well worth the effort. Undulating and a reasonable steep descent to the bottom of Minni Ha Ha Falls, the lookout into the amphitheatre, before you start to descend is gorgeous.

Minnehaha TrailThis very close by walk/hike is one to stop by and do. It does get busy due to its proximity but it is short (approx 3km round trip from the Car Park, Cnr Fifth Ave & Minni Ha Ha Road, Katoomba) and well worth the effort. Undulating and a reasonable steep descent to the bottom of Minni Ha Ha Falls, the lookout into the amphitheatre, before you start to descend is gorgeous.
A highly recommended outing from Leura. The valley itself is amazing offering a beautiful walk to the Glow Worm Tunnel (torch is a must). There is also some historic ruins in the area which are well worth exploring.

This is a truly great spot to visit. The Blue Mountains Cultural Centre showcases many of the unique artistic life in and around the world heritage environment. It is always showing innovative and diverse cultural programs, featuring the Blue Mountains City Art Gallery and the World Heritage Interpretive Centre.
The World Heritage Interpretive Centre is really 'cool' with a high-tech interactive exhibition including film, audio and touch-screens showing the richness and wonders of the Blue Mountains World Heritage region. It is also built on the highest point in Katoomba, offering panoramic views of the Greater Blue Mountains World Heritage area. A must see!

It is always showing innovative and diverse cultural programs, featuring the Blue Mountains City Art Gallery and the World Heritage Interpretive Centre.
The World Heritage Interpretive Centre is really 'cool' with a high-tech interactive exhibition including film, audio and touch-screens showing the richness and wonders of the Blue Mountains World Heritage region. It is also built on the highest point in Katoomba, offering panoramic views of the Greater Blue Mountains World Heritage area. A must see!
