Very cosy and friendly and too close to go by foot. Traditional and authentic Greek dishes. My best choices are "Kokoras krassatos" which means "rooster with wine" and "Bakaliaros skordalia" which means "Salt cod and garlic dip". Try local red wine and of course bread!

This bar reminds me the most relaxing nights in Paralio Astros. It has a modern style and is in great spot by the port. Ask from the barman to make a special coctail for you containing mastic. You can also try Vinsanto sweet wine (made by sun-dried grapes).

Vlachokerasia is a settlement of the regional unity of the prefecture of Arcadia. It has been characterized as a traditional settlement. Vlachokerasia is located 22 kilometers from Tripoli and at an altitude of 960 meters, in a region with cherry trees, chestnut trees, apple trees, walnut trees and plane trees. Many watermills and water jets served in the past not only in Vlachokerasia but also in the villages to Tegea. The place was always inhabited. The ancient inhabitants, the Skrites, were famous warriors. The rich finds of the archaeological excavation from the area are housed in the Tegea Museum. It was a land of Dimitra, apparently because of the very fertile land.

In this building was take place the famous "Second National Assembly" of Astros and the Kolokotroniko table, which took place on July 19, 1821, in honor of Dimitrios Ypsilantis. The building was destroyed in 1826 by Ibrahim Pasha, but was later restored by relatives of Karytsiotis. In the following years, it became a school and in 1959 it became an archaeological museum. In 2008 it was closed due to earthquake damages. However, visitors can see the venue where the National Assembly took place, the courtyard with some finds from the Herod of Attica Mansion and the two-story museum and its walls outside, which helped as a branch of the school.

In antiquity, it is believed that in the monastery's place there was the ancient city of Eva and the sanctuary of war-state (son of Asclepius god). During the 2nd century AD, the sophist Herod the Attic raised next to the monastery, the famous mansion, which was revealed in recent years. During the early Christian years (5th century), the temple was built in this place.
