Wine, Beer, and Spirits

There are at least six wineries in or around Cape May, but the Cape May Winery is by far our favorite local vineyard! If you're visiting over the weekend, I suggest checking out their Friday night "happy hour" that offers wine specials, a delicious tapas menu, and live acoustic music from 5 pm to 8 pm weekly.

Cape May's only "farm-to-bottle" distillery, Nauti Spirits grows their own sweet potatoes and then turns them into craft vodka. They offer a creative and locally inspired menu of mixed drinks made from their own vodka, gin, and rum, plus they are located on a cool farm with great sunsets and a relaxing vibe. During the spring, summer, and fall they will often have live music and food vendors - check their website for details: www.nautispirits.com.

Cape May is perfect for walking and biking.

Many visitors to this historic town park their car when they arrive and never use it until the end of their visit. Instead, they enjoy walking or biking into town during the warmer months. We are located just a block from Cape May's boardwalk - perfect for taking a morning or evening stroll along the ocean. And we provide complimentary bikes and bike locks for our guests to use during their stay with us. The town is very bike friendly and there are bike racks all over downtown.
