There are cafes, small boutique shops as well as restaurants that are unique and hidden waiting to be discovered. Gertrude St and Brunswick St is just a few minutes walk away and also accessible via Trams

To get to the CBD tram will be your best option and also the fastest. You can either catch a tram on Gertrude St or on Victoria Parade. Either way its only a couple of mins walk away. If you want a more scenic route, you can walk via East Melbourne crossing Victoria Parade, crossing through Fitzroy gardens and towards the city.
