Special events such as receptions, readings and Arts Walk-wide open houses provide opportunities to connect with the creative community in DC. Stop by 6-9pm on the third Thursday of the month for special events.

DC is all about museums. There’s Dorothy’s shoes, the Hope Diamond, space shuttles from NASA, etc. In my opinion, the American History and National Museum of Natural History are the best. There’s also the zoo (with pandas) and the Archives (with the Declaration of Independence.) Plus, they are all free!

There’s Dorothy’s shoes, the Hope Diamond, space shuttles from NASA, etc. In my opinion, the American History and National Museum of Natural History are the best. There’s also the zoo (with pandas) and the Archives (with the Declaration of Independence.) Plus, they are all free!
Entertainment & Activities
A classic D.C. neighborhood on Capitol Hill. Every Saturday and Sunday there is a street fair and flea market with local vendors selling everything from dresses to donuts, regardless of weather. There's also several great stores and restaurants.
