5 Minutes down the street is a smaller community called "Pine Craft," it's going to sound weird, but it is the Amish Vegas. They live an Amish life up North, and sort of an English life down here. I have Amish background, feel free to ask questions :)

Beach
Home of the whitest and purest sand in Florida. Very large attraction and a great place to go lay in the sun at the beach. Have fun getting the sand off you! It's a very fine sand, so comfy to walk on, but just tends to stick more.
Local Tip: Off of Siesta Drive is a road called "Shell Road"
Get there early or get lucky getting a spot on the street, very minimal parking. But the beach is small but you see tons of Yachts and boats come by and have a direct view of South Lido Beach.

Siesta Beach
Home of the whitest and purest sand in Florida. Very large attraction and a great place to go lay in the sun at the beach. Have fun getting the sand off you! It's a very fine sand, so comfy to walk on, but just tends to stick more.

Type "South Lido Mangrove Tours" in Google and you'll find TONS of rentals to paddle board or kayak the beautiful calm waters in the mangroves. From my house, it will be a 15 minute drive. You'll most likely see manatees or dolphins.
