The downtown elevators!

To get from downtown to the Castle may be a little bit tiring, the city of the seven hills has some steep hills to climb! But there is a free and very easy solution. To get from downtown all the way up to the Castle hill there are two elevators, one in Rua da Prata and the other in Rua da Madalena, that are free and used often by locals. Another tip: Don't forget to have a glimpse of the city in the top of the second lift.
