Great little spot for amazing seafood and hush puppies!! I have never had a bad meal here. My advice would be to get there a little early, as there is always a wait. It's in downtown Thomasville, GA-which is about a 30 minute drive, but worth it. Cute little shops everywhere, along with other great restuaraunts and a great day trip!

Great spot for lunch-they have been in Tallahassee for 20+ years! They have 3 locations in town, but this one is the closest. There is all kinds of sandwiches, salads, soups, locally made deserts-usually some sort of cake.

Fantastic local beer! It has an outdoor area with corn hole and other outdoor games. They do allow kids, and my son loves to play out there with his friends while we enjoy a beer. It's also in Railroad Square, which is an art area for our locals here!

This right up the road from us off of Buck Lake Rd! It's probably my favorite area to go for a run. There are wooded trails & open terrain for hikers, mountain bikers & equestrians, with horse trailer parking. When you pull in to the greenway, park on the right and follow that trail down until you come to the bridge that goes over the railroad tracks. It's about a 3.5 mile loop around Lake Lafayette (which you can canoe in as well)...and a good 3/4 of it is in the shade, if you feel like a run or walk. This is a relatively new area that you should definitely take advantage of!

This is a wonderful spot to go to during the spring to see all the flowers blooming and walk through all the gardens. There is also a lake you can swim in if you're here during the summer and you can grill out down by the lake also.

This beach is close enough for a day trip if you're short on time. It's about 45 minutes away and you can grab a great seafood dinner in Panacea on your way back! We would recommend Angelo's or their sister restaurant and more casual dining, Tropical Trader Shrimp Company.

Amazing trails that are right up the road from us...an awesome bridge that goes over the train tracks and makes you feel like you're in the treetops! A lovely trail around Lake Lafayette that is mainly shaded by canopy trees. Bike trails and horse trails all throughout. Runners, bikers, walkers-dogs allowed, too. Can't recommend this place enough.

There are candles, sunglasses, furnishings for the apartment (lamps and such, not furniture), jewelry, tapestries, picture frames, cards, shoes. It's very rare I leave here empty handed. It's also on Lake Ella in one of the cottages, which is a nice place to take a stroll around.
