If you love seafood, this upscale seafood restaurant has lots of great choices. We HIGHLY recommend the Sweet Corn Soup with lump crab meat. They also do wine pairings and have a 7 course tasting menu.

If you're looking for a college bar with lots of great junk food and drinks, this is the place to go. Get the bacon cheese fries if you really want to indulge, they don't go easy on the bacon. Their pizzas are great too!

This is not a Subway chain restaurant! This is a cute local sub shop established in 1977 only a mile away from our house. The subs are large, delicious, and very reasonably priced.

The largest stone fort in the US with very cool views and right near a cozy little beach on the bay. It may not seem like it but you can drive through the narrow one lane tunnel into the fort. It's a great local landmark with lots of history and a museum inside.

These are some of our favories breweries in the area. Some of them are a little farther away in Hampton and Yorktown but if you have a car and a dd or don't mind ubering, I highly recommened visiting some of these.
This is a great place for a flight, lots of varierty in styles of beer. We really like the Strawberry Basil Kölsch and the Cream Ale.
