The "tree streets" area of Bangor is one of the oldest neighborhoods in our city, dating back to the middle 1800s. Many homes in this area are original structures, which have been lovingly maintained or house apartments. We have a large public park and neighborhood coffee shop within walking distance. Many of our guests enjoy the 10-15 minute walk to our downtown area from our home.

Bangor is home to author Stephen King. Many tourists can be seen taking photos in front of the bat gates of his home. There is also a wonderful tour of his life and contributions to our city that is very popular. This needs to be booked ahead and they will pick you up at our home. SK Tours is approximately 2 hours and we have had wonderful feedback from our guests.

This wooden trail constructed to wind through the bog of the Penjawoc marshland will provide a tranquil and beautiful stroll and educate you on the local plants and fowl that reside in the marsh.

Darling's Waterfront Concert Series
Every spring and summer, some of the largest names in entertainment visit our waterfront area. We have hosted Phish, Luke Bryan, Ed Sheeran, Dolly Parton, etc. There is literally something for everyone. Log onto the site to see who is coming this summer and coordinate that with your trip.
